Liberation Conversations

a courage collective brand

An intentional space created for the HUMANITY, CONNECTIVITY, AUTHENTICITY, and LIBERATION of Black folks.

Why Does it Exist?

As Black folks, we could all use a space to let down our guard, turn off the code-switch, and just be in community with people who understand us. Blackness is not a monolith, but there are a lot of folks that understand how tedious and tiresome it can be to spend most of your work day with people who do not look like you or really understand you.

In the last year, there's been a tremendous amount of training and discussion tailored to privileged and White folks waking up to the realities of the world. This is a space for Black folks to learn, challenge, and support each other in our growth and decolonization.

Who is it For?

Anyone who identifies as Black or African American

Black or African American folks who work or live in largely white spaces

Black and African American folks who are interested in unlearning certain lessons on how to be a respectable, successful, or a "good" Black person

Black and African American folks who are wanting to reconnect with the peace, joy, fullness, and celebration of their Blackness

Black and African American folks who are craving more authentic connections and community with other Black folks
